Job summary

Socure is hiring a Staff Data Scientist to design and optimize advanced ML models powering fraud detection and risk management. You will lead hands-on development, mentor peers, and drive cross-functional initiatives while staying at the forefront of AI innovations.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Risk teams to deliver scalable solutions with real-time inference capabilities and robust monitoring in production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
• Experience in fraud prevention, risk modeling, or identity verification.
• Hands‑on experience developing and deploying deep learning models (transformers, CNNs/RNNs, graph learning).
• Experience with multiple data modalities (tabular data, text, images).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced deep learning models to combat fraud and manage risk.
• Lead end-to-end ML lifecycle: data exploration, feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Mentor peers, drive collaboration, and communicate findings to both technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Risk teams to define data requirements and guide decisions.
