Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Finance, Economics, or Statistics.
• 3+ years in a Risk Management or quantitative role (credit cards/financial services preferred).
• Experience with fraud detection and mitigation: identity theft, verification, first-party fraud, account takeover.
• Proficiency in SAS and/or SQL (or similar language).
• Ability to query large data sets and transform findings into actionable insights.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently develop fraud risk strategies and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Detect fraud trends by analyzing data and recommending strategies to reduce fraud losses.
• Perform tracking, reporting, and create presentations on KPI metrics.
• Develop, implement, and manage Fraud Risk Strategies related to third- and first-party fraud.
• Identify areas for improvement and optimize existing Fraud Risk Strategies.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and present actionable insights to management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and departments to align fraud risk efforts.
• Balance multiple initiatives and meet tight deadlines.
