Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a Risk Analyst in Frisco, TX to support payment processing merchants by addressing complex financial, fraud, and risk-related issues.

The role involves handling high-volume inbound calls, de-escalating difficult situations, analyzing financial and transaction data, and balancing customer empathy with established risk policies. This is a 1-year W2 contract with benefits and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in risk management or related call center environment.
• Strong customer service, communication, and de-escalation skills.
• Experience in high-volume inbound phone environments while meeting SLAs and performance metrics.
• Proficiency with G-Suite and other relevant software; degree in Finance/Risk/Accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle 20+ inbound calls daily addressing complex financial, fraud, and risk questions for payment processing merchants.
• Review merchant cases to release funds, collect balances, and assist with chargeback disputes.
• Analyze customer information, financial patterns, and transaction data to identify fraud and risk trends.
• Provide exceptional customer service and de-escalate complex or escalated issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Analyze financial data to identify irregularities related to billing trends, financial relationships, and regulatory compliance.
