State Employees' Credit Union is seeking a fraud specialist to support members and internal teams. The role involves handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls regarding potentially fraudulent activity, initiating fraud claims when needed, and assessing cases for timely resolution.
The position also requires communicating emerging fraud trends to supervisors and staff and assisting members with questions about fraudulent activity or card-related concerns.
Shift schedule working rotating shift 4 days on/4 days off 9a-9p (including weekends and holidays). This is a hybrid position; however, all training will be completed onsite. Employees are not eligible for remote work during their first 90 days. Following the initial 90-day period, remote work eligibility will be based on performance, attendance, adherence to department expectations, and supervisor recommendation. Office setting with physical proximity to other employees. Some background noise from other employees, copy machine, and telephone. Physical Demands Must be able to comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions. Job requires a substantial amount of sitting. Use hands and fingers to press keys on a computer keyboard to enter or retrieve information. Use hands and fingers to press telephone keypad and lift telephone receiver. Must be able to lift 5 pounds.
