Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in New Castle, Delaware, is seeking a leader to design, analyze, and support investigations and SAR filings in the context of complex payment processing incidents affecting clients who have fallen victim to fraud.

The role includes management oversight of a 12-person investigations and SAR filings team. The ideal candidate will bring 6–10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), and CAMS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs/analyzes and supports the investigations and SAR filing involving complex payment processing details that have compromised our clients account who has fallen victim to fraud.
• Deals with complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact.
• Uses management oversight to ensure SAR's are filed timely and all regulatory reporting requirements are met.
• Scope of role requires management oversight of 12 staff doing investigations and SAR filings.
• Manages resource allocation and leads the work within a team/project to develop solutions for business reporting issues.
• Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
• Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level personnel in the business processes and procedures of area supported.
• Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Influences strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services that have direct impact on the business. Persuades and influences others through developed communication and diplomacy skills with colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.
• May be responsible for resource management and allocation of work within a project team.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
