Job summary

Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles is seeking a Supervising Fraud Investigator to manage the entire investigative unit, supervising Fraud Investigators and clerical staff. The role includes planning, directing, and reviewing investigations related to housing fraud and HUD compliance.

Qualified candidates will have a college degree and at least seven years of investigation experience, including three years in a supervisory capacity; CFE is desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized college or university; 7+ years professional investigative or law enforcement experience with 3 years in lead/supervisory capacity
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is a desirable qualification

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and review the work of Fraud Investigators and staff.
• Oversee investigations related to housing fraud and HUD program compliance.
• Develop training and ensure reports are accurate and timely.
