Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized college or university and five years of professional investigative or law enforcement experience.
• Two years in a lead or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Plans, collaborates, and assists in reviewing the work of investigators; may supervise clerical or administrative staff.
• Oversees investigations of irregularities, fraud, collusion, conflicts of interest, and improprieties involving Authority personnel or contractors.
• Supervises investigations regarding violations of legislation or rules governing HACLA programs.
• Monitors progress of cases; guides investigators; leads field investigations, interviews suspects and witnesses, and collects evidence.
• Assists in selecting and training staff; reviews subordinate investigative reports for completeness and accuracy.
• Collects and analyzes information and prepares statistical reports; may testify in court.
• Develops and conducts in-service training on fraud prevention.
• Maintains compliance with HACLA conduct policies and departmental procedures.
• May drive to multiple sites to gather evidence.
