Job summary

BioCatch, a leader in Behavioral Biometrics, is expanding its Fraud Intelligence Unit. We are seeking a Fraud Intelligence Research Analyst to analyze global fraud trends, turn complex data into clear narratives, and support sales and marketing with data-driven insights.

You will work with SQL, Python or R, AI tools, and data visualisations to craft reports and dashboards. The role requires collaboration across teams, strong communication, and the ability to argue using evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent technology-focused education.
• Several years’ experience in banks’ fraud or financial crime departments with real fraud case investigations.
• Intermediate/advanced SQL experience.
• Experience with Python and/or R.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools to support research and analysis.
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
• Ability to create insightful data visualisations and compelling dashboards.
• Second/third languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research global fraud trends to support marketing content.
• Analyze BioCatch data globally and regionally to surface insights.
• Create data-driven stories for Threat landscapes and case studies.
• Develop visualisations to enhance storytelling.
• Present findings in internal and BioCatch events.
• Maintain data repository and self-service dashboards.
• Identify automation opportunities in data analysis.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and apply them.
