Job summary

Tripledot Studios is seeking a data analyst to own the fraud side of user segmentation for Puzzleplay. You will work with product and data teams to maintain a system that blends fraud signals with activity data to inform revenue-share decisions.

You will revisit signals as fraud tactics evolve and help determine verification methods for each market, including potential tools like FaceTec, ID scanning or phone verification.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and shape detection or prevention decisions.
• Experience designing or improving fraud signals, user segments or review processes.
• Ability to work with product and other teams to turn analysis into operational fraud controls.

Responsibilities

• Review fraud signals regularly and refine them to distinguish suspicious activity from legitimate users.
• Own fraud-related segments of the user segmentation system and monitor category effectiveness.
• Collaborate with product on fraud verification tools for different markets (FaceTec, ID, phone checks).
• Investigate users flagged for manual review and improve review processes.
• Identify gaps in signals and recommend third-party tools for the product roadmap.
