Job summary

Capitex is recruiting a Fraud Data Analyst to support a 24/7 fraud operation for a leading international banking client. The role starts fully remote from the UK and shifts onsite abroad from Month 3, with relocation support including flight, visa sponsorship and a housing allowance.

The consultant will bridge data and detection teams and drive MI and dashboards. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in fraud analytics, strong SQL, and experience with BI tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data analytics within fraud/financial crime or banking operations.
• Strong SQL skills demonstrated in screening.
• Python or R skills are a strong plus.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Familiarity with fraud detection platforms and alert data structures.

Responsibilities

• Analyse fraud alert and case data to identify trends and false positives.
• Support rule and threshold tuning on fraud monitoring platforms.
• Design and produce operational MI: alert volumes, outcomes, SLA performance, losses prevented.
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting for fraud leadership.
• Support post-incident reviews with data deep-dives and knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to coaching of the client's analyst team.
