Job summary

NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Office of Inspector General, seeks an Inspection, Investigation, Enforcement and Compliance Specialist in Florida to conduct investigations into fraud, corruption, theft, and other violations of federal law affecting NASA programs and operations.

You will gather and analyze evidence, coordinate with law enforcement partners, advise leadership, and recommend corrective actions to address fraud, waste, and misconduct.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in criminal investigations and reporting of findings.
• Experience applying federal procurement/contracting regulations and tracing financial transactions.
• Knowledge of investigative policy development and coordination with law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of suspected federal criminal violations affecting NASA programs.
• Obtain facts and evidence by contacting personnel, organizations and reviewing records.
• Interview complainants, witnesses and suspects; administer oaths and subpoenas when needed.
• Advise leadership and develop corrective actions based on findings.
• Coordinate investigative functions with NASA OIG and other agencies.
• Track responses to findings to ensure timely follow-up.
