Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced Fraud Analyst to join the Global Risk Operations team. You will write and maintain fraud rulesets, analyze fraud patterns, and partner with product, engineering, and operations to minimize losses while preserving user experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of SQL-backed data analysis within ecommerce, payments, or cryptocurrency fraud, and a proven track record of mitigating complex fraud scenarios across distributed transaction flows.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience conducting advanced data analysis using SQL.
• Experience writing, maintaining, and analyzing complex fraud rulesets.
• Deep understanding of fraud typologies, controls, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain fraud rulesets to prevent transaction fraud, with ongoing monitoring of precision and recall.
• Conduct advanced data analysis of structured and unstructured data to identify emerging fraud attacks and mitigate risk.
