Job summary

Jobgether SRL, listed on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Data Analyst to own fraud analytics within a growing user segmentation system. You will analyze behavioral and fraud signals to distinguish legitimate users from suspicious activity and support product decisions and verification strategies.

You will collaborate with product, data, and analytics teams to implement practical fraud controls and refine detection signals as patterns evolve across markets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud.
• Experience designing/refining fraud signals or segmentation.
• Strong analytical skills for complex behavior.
• Understanding evolving fraud tactics.
• Collaborate with product, data and cross-functional teams to translate analysis into actions.
• Clear communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Review and continuously refine fraud signals to distinguish legitimate users.
• Analyze signals like IP spoofing, VPN usage, unusual patterns for fraud.
• Own fraud-related components of the user segmentation system and monitor performance.
• Partner with product and data teams on verification approaches for different markets.
• Investigate users flagged for manual review and improve review efficiency.
• Identify gaps in signals and assess third-party tools for fraud.
