Job summary

Chase is seeking a Quantitative Analytics Associate for our Point of Sale Fraud team. You will drive advanced risk analyses to reduce fraud losses, protect customers, and influence key decisions across the organization.

You will manage fraud risk strategies, perform complex analyses, and collaborate with partners to balance risk and customer impact. Excellent communication with managers and executives is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline; 2+ years fraud/risk/payments or related field.
• Advanced understanding of Python, SAS, and SQL.
• Ability to query large data and transform it into actionable management information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience delivering recommendations to management.
• Self-starter with drive for resolution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional interaction.

Responsibilities

• Interpret large amounts of complex data to identify risk dynamics and opportunities.
• Develop and implement optimal fraud strategies to protect the bank and improve customer experience at POS.
• Identify key risk indicators, develop metrics, enhance reporting and discover new analytic focus areas.
• Provide SME on strategy implementation and risk mitigation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address business challenges.
• Perform data mining and communicate findings to senior management.
• Assist in developing new fraud/spending detection tools and communicate findings across teams.
