Director of Fraud Strategy & Analytics (Remote – U.S. Based) | $164K–$297K + Incentives

We’re seeking an experienced fraud strategy leader to drive enterprise-level fraud prevention initiatives and shape long-term risk mitigation efforts. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-impact team responsible for analyzing threats, developing fraud detection strategies, and influencing enterprise-wide policy and systems to stay ahead of evolving fraud risks.

What You'll Be Leading:

• Build and refine a fraud prevention strategy that scales with business growth and adapts to emerging threats
• Lead a specialized analytics team responsible for fraud rules management, detection capabilities, and cross-functional initiatives
• Design and oversee fraud policies and workflows in alignment with regulatory expectations and organizational risk appetite
• Collaborate across business units and technology teams to ensure strategic alignment and seamless implementation of fraud controls
• Represent the company in industry working groups, contributing to and learning from the broader fraud and financial crimes community
• Use data-driven insights to assess rule performance, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to improve accuracy and reduce false positives
• Stay ahead of fraud trends, regulatory updates, and advanced technology in financial crimes risk management

What You Bring to the Table:

• 8+ years in financial crimes, fraud strategy, or risk analytics
• 3+ years of experience leading high-performing teams
• Deep knowledge of fraud detection systems, business rules engines, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Reg E, Reg Z, UDAAP)
• Hands-on experience with SQL, SAS, BI tools, or similar platforms
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially when translating technical analysis into executive-level insights

Preferred Experience:

• 5+ years managing fraud rule performance and designing detection logic
• Track record of identifying and correcting rules to improve customer experience and detection accuracy
• Background in financial services, banking, or payment fraud
• Military experience or direct affiliation is a plus
