Baylor University in Waco, TX, invites applications for the Assistant Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life. This full-time, on-site role supports a values-based Greek community through day-to-day advising, leadership development, risk management education, and event planning that aligns with Baylor’s mission.

The position coordinates workshops and trainings for member development, standards, and campus engagement, collaborating with campus partners, national orgs, and alumni advisors.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in student affairs, fraternity and sorority life, or related campus programming, with the ability to advise student organizations and councils effectively.
• Skills in event planning, program development, and facilitation of workshops and trainings that support leadership, inclusion, and community standards.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution abilities to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, alumni, and external stakeholders.
• Organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, record keeping, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with values-based Greek-letter organizations, national headquarters, and/or faith-informed university environments is beneficial.
• Ability to uphold and support Baylor University’s Christian mission while welcoming and serving a diverse student population.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day advising to fraternity and sorority chapters and councils.
• Coordinate educational workshops, trainings, and events related to member development, community standards, and campus engagement.
• Collaborate with campus partners, national organizations, and alumni advisors to foster a healthy, inclusive fraternity and sorority experience aligned with Baylor’s mission.
• Maintain records, support compliance with university policies, assist with recruitment and intake processes, and contribute to strategic planning and assessment for the Fraternity & Sorority Life office.
