Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and two years of student services, student affairs, counseling, advising, or related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted.
• Excellent public speaking, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise one or more assigned FSL student governing councils (IFC, MGC, NPHC, CPC).
• Provide coaching for and attend meetings with fraternity/sorority chapter leaders; assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing events.
• Actively participate in the Event Safety Committee; maintain liaison between FSL and division offices (UPD, SGA, RHA, Police, Union, etc.).
• Plan and facilitate workshops and retreats on event planning, leadership, member development, and risk management.
• Ensure accuracy of rosters and contact sheets; assist in developing chapter grade reports at semester end.
• Monitor financial transactions for assigned FSL councils with Administrative Assistant.
• Monitor Sorority House door access system; meet with Auxiliary Services and inform Director of needs.
• Participate in departmental programs and projects; attend conferences; supervise FSL Interns when applicable.
• Other duties as requested or required.
