Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Corporate Franchise Associate in Austin, TX to join a growing national franchise practice emphasizing collegiality and professional development.

You will draft and negotiate FDDs and franchise agreements, manage registrations and compliance, handle disputes, and engage in cross-border licensing and M&A activity. A JD from an ABA-accredited school and bar admission are required.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of transactional franchise experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Desire to learn and grow within the franchise community.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and franchise agreements.
• Manage franchise registrations and compliance matters.
• Address default and termination issues within franchise relationships.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions in the franchise sector.
• Engage in international franchise licensing transactions.
• Participate in dispute resolution processes.
