Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Washington, DC seeks an experienced Corporate Franchise Associate to join a growing national franchise practice. The role involves drafting and negotiating FDDs and franchise agreements, and handling registrations and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of transactional franchise experience, strong research and writing skills, and a JD from an ABA-accredited school with bar admission. Remote/flexible work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of transactional franchise experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the jurisdiction of the resident office location.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and franchise agreements.
• Manage franchise registrations and compliance matters.
• Address default and termination issues in franchise relationships.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions in the franchise sector.
• Engage in international franchise licensing transactions.
• Participate in dispute resolution processes.
