Job summary

Inspire Brands seeks a Franchise Legal Services paralegal to support domestic franchise regulatory compliance and the management of business development committee administration. This includes handling FDD renewals, amendments, and exemption filings as part of a broader regulatory program.

The role requires drafting notices and amendments, coordinating with outside counsel, and maintaining franchise legal files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; paralegal certification preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience in legal paralegal or equivalent role; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience in franchise regulatory matters, securities regulatory support, or M&A/transactional law is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with FTC regulatory processes and domestic FDD renewals/amendments.
• Draft and manage franchise default notices, termination notices, amendments and agreements.
• Manage requests for third-party information/documents (securitization audits, lender docs, SBA items).
• Maintain filing for all franchise legal files; support business development compliance with governing materials.
• Assist Senior Counsel – Franchise and VP – Franchise Counsel on special projects.

This position will serve as the Franchise Legal Services paralegal responsible for FTC regulatory agency compliance and management of business development committee administration related to domestic development.RESPONSILITIESSupport internal domestic franchise legal regulatory compliance processes with respect to data gathering and information tracking (including the domestic FDD yearly Renewal, amendments, exemption filings, etc.).
