H&R Block in Pittsboro, NC is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to deliver accurate bookkeeping, payroll, and client service. You will post transactions, reconcile accounts, prepare payroll and tax forms, and support client retention. This role requires discretion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced franchise office.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• National bookkeeping and payroll certifications or ability to obtain them are required.
• 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and GAAP.

Responsabilidades

• Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers.
• Reconcile and balance accounts.
• Generate and analyze financial statements.
• Prepare and process payroll.
• Generate 1099s and W2s and prepare tax statements.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, vendors and banking contacts.
• Assist in client retention and growth opportunities.
