Job summary

Michaels Stores in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a framing associate to help customers create and purchase customized framing solutions while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service in a well-merchandised store.

You will operate framing equipment, handle the cash register, stock the department, and support omni-channel processes. The role requires basic computer and measuring skills and prior retail experience.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers using Elevated ABC Deliver to create Custom Framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; keep store well merchandised and in-stock.
• Support shrink and safety programs and participate in truck unload and stocking processes.
• Operate cash register and perform cash handling to standards.
• Acknowledge customers, locate products and provide solutions; assist with Omni channel processes.
