Michaels in Mays Landing, NJ is hiring a framing assistant to help customers create custom framing solutions and maintain a well-stocked, clean store. You will assist customers, locate products, and support Omni channel processes while delivering friendly service.

The role involves operating the cash register, handling transactions, and adhering to SOPs. Evening and weekend shifts are common, and the position offers opportunities to learn framing techniques and grow with a national crafts

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and create framing solutions to meet customer needs.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and stock levels.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in locating products.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes and store operations.
