Job summary

Michaels Palm Desert is seeking a friendly team member to help customers create custom framing solutions and locate needed items. You will build relationships, provide excellent service, and ensure a well merchandised, in-stock store.

You will operate a cash register, assist with omnichannel processes, complete framing orders on time, and follow SOPs while supporting safety and shrink programs. This is a retail role with flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a climate-controlled

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and a glass cutter.
• Retail experience and comfort selling products to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers while creating custom framing solutions and deliver sales/production results.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including stock replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop and find what they need.
