Job summary

Michaels in Prosper, TX is seeking a friendly associate to help customers create custom framing solutions and shop the store. You will build relationships, assist with framing orders, maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store, and operate the cash register with accuracy.

This role requires basic computer and measuring skills, ability to use framing equipment and glass cutter, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings in a public retail environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas.
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
