Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking an Assembler II - Framing for its onsite facility in Keosauqua, Iowa. The role focuses on fabricating and assembling frames for refrigeration systems, reading blueprints and BOMs, and using drills, screw guns, and measuring tools to ensure precise framing components.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, schematics, and BOMs to select components and dimensions.
• Assemble and mount parts, including sheet metal, tubing, and wiring per drawings.
• Repair or assemble frame components using drills, screw guns and fasteners.
• Fabricate sheet metal parts as required for framing assemblies.
• Identify and select appropriate hand and power tools for each operation.
• Use rulers, tape measures, squares and other measuring devices to verify dimensions.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules during assembly.
• Assist with other duties as production needs require.
