Job summary

Addison Group is partnering with a high-growth boutique asset management firm in Bethesda, MD to transform its website into a high-performing growth engine. The Web Developer will own the technical layer, building components with JavaScript/TypeScript, and integrating marketing tools.

Primary responsibilities include Framer-based development, API integrations, tracking setup via GTM/GA4, and optimization for UX, accessibility, and SEO.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in web development, front-end development, or digital experience optimization.
• Hands-on experience building websites and landing pages using Framer.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, with experience extending no-code/low-code platforms through custom code.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development principles.
• Experience with API integrations and connecting websites to marketing technology tools.
• Experience implementing technical SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
• Knowledge of schema markup, structured data, search indexing, and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with website analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and UX best practices.
• Experience conducting website testing and optimization initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Media, Marketing Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize web experiences using Framer and modern front-end development practices.
• Create responsive, mobile-first experiences that perform seamlessly across devices and browsers.
• Implement interactive components, animations, and user flows that improve engagement and usability.
• Ensure websites meet modern accessibility standards and performance benchmarks.
• Build custom Framer code components and overrides using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Integrate the website with marketing and business systems via APIs and embeds.
• Implement and maintain tracking, tags, and conversion events through Google Tag Manager and GA4.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across forms, integrations, redirects, and site performance.
• Improve site navigation, content structure, and user journeys to increase engagement and conversions.
• Design and implement conversion-focused landing pages and campaign experiences.
• Analyze user behavior using heatmaps, session recordings, and analytics platforms to identify optimization opportunities.
• Conduct A/B testing and iterative improvements to maximize site performance.
• Own technical SEO initiatives across all web properties.
• Implement structured data, schema markup, metadata, and indexing best practices.
• Optimize website architecture and content structure for search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms.
• Partner with content and marketing teams to maximize organic visibility and search performance.
• Monitor and improve site health, crawlability, page speed, and search rankings.
• Track and report on key website metrics including traffic, engagement, conversions, Core Web Vitals, and search performance.
• Identify technical issues affecting site performance and proactively implement solutions.
• Utilize behavioral data and analytics to guide ongoing enhancements and development priorities.
• Stay current on emerging web technologies, SEO trends, AI search developments, and digital experience best practices.
