Job summary

Michaels Stores – Morgantown, WV is hiring a retail associate to build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions. You will help customers find what they need, load and stock materials, and keep a welcoming, well merchandised store.

Key duties include completing framing orders on time, operating framing equipment and a glass cutter, handling the cash register, and supporting Omni channel processes while upholding SOPs, safety, and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Preferred: retail experience.
• Preferred: experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers to understand framing needs.
• Complete framing orders on time with high quality.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and stock levels.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to SOP standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes and in-store service.
• Support safety, shrink, and SOP adherence in daily tasks.
