Job summary

Pynn Masonry Inc is seeking a skilled Framer/Carpenter to join our masonry team in New Hampshire. The role involves carpentry work supporting masonry construction, including brick insulation and tie anchors into metal stud and wood structures for veneer installations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of carpentry or metal framing experience, and is comfortable working alongside masons on active sites. PPE and tools are provided, with safety onboarding prior to the first job site.

Position Summary:

Pynn Masonry is seeking a skilled Framer/Carpenter to join our masonry team. This role focuses on carpentry work that supports masonry construction, including brick insulation and tie anchors into metal stud and wood structures for masonry veneer installations. The ideal candidate has experience in residential or commercial framing and is comfortable working alongside masons on active construction sites. Pynn will provide the proper PPE and tools required for this role, along with all the proper safety training and onboarding with our Safety consultant prior to working at the initial job site.

Position Description:

• Install backing anchors and insulation for stone, brick, and masonry veneer systems.
• Install thin brick panels, felt paper, and flashing assemblies.
• Work collaboratively with site Foreman, Project Managers, and Masons to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Maintain and follow Pynn Masonry’s safety guidelines along with OSHA safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of carpentry and/or metal framing experience (construction environment preferred).
• Proficiency with cordless drills, reciprocating saws, table saws, hand tools, cutoff saws, nail guns, and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with Gridworx system a plus.
• Experience working alongside masonry crews.
• New commercial construction job site experience.
• Experience with lasers and control is a plus.
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Experience with MEWP’s.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, stooping, stretching, and working outside.
• Physically able to perform labor required to lay brick, stone, and concrete blocks.
• Must be able to lift, move (push/pull), and carry up to 50 pounds alone.
• Must be able to lift, move (push/pull), and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
