Smart Construction in the Bear Lake Valley is seeking an experienced Framer to join our crew and contribute to building premier custom homes on-site. You will read blueprints, frame floors, walls, rafters and roof trusses, and ensure every section is true to specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential framing, preferably with custom homes.
• Proficient with standard framing tools, including circular saws, pneumatic nail guns, and levels.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying mountain weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to various job sites around Bear Lake Valley.
• Possession of standard personal hand tools and proper work boots.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints: Interpret architectural drawings to accurately layout lines and material lengths.
• Construct assemblies: Build and install floor platforms, wall framing, rafters, and roof trusses.
• Cut and prep: Measure, mark, and cut wood and engineered lumber using hand and power tools.
• Ensure accuracy: Verify that all structures are level, plumb, square, and built to specifications.
• Maintain safety: Keep a clean workspace and follow all safety protocols for tools, ladders, and scaffolding.
