Job summary

Juniper Design + Build is hiring frame-to-finish carpenters with 3-6 years of experience for projects in Portland, ME and surrounding communities. The team focuses on energy-efficient, sustainably-built custom homes and renovations, with a supportive culture and a commitment to high-quality work.

Position is full-time, on-site at Peaks Island and greater Portland area. Benefits include health insurance, retirement, PTO, tool allowance, disability/life insurance, and professional development

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of hands-on carpentry experience in residential construction.
• Proficient in framing, siding, window/door installation, air sealing, and finish work.
• Certifications like OSHA10, Lead Safe and Net Zero are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, siding, window and door installation, air sealing and finish carpentry on residential projects.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality, on-budget work.
• Commit to high-performance building practices and continuous learning.
