Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Production Associate for the Kernersville facility. The role focuses on producing frames and mats to customer specifications while moving items through the production process and maintaining safety, productivity, and attendance standards.

Key tasks include inspecting joints and cuts, reading tape measures, receiving and stocking material, and ensuring correct shipping documentation. Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing or equipment maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and numeric sequences accurately.

Responsibilities

• Inspect frames and mats to ensure quality joints and cuts.
• Move product through production while following safety rules.
• Receive product from trucks and load into proper racks/bins.
• Store mats/frames in storage racks using RF scan gun.
• Secure frames/mats in shipping cartons and attach shipping documents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area.
• Follow all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE.
