Job summary

Luxottica’s Walman Optical division is seeking a Distribution Clerk to read, pull, pack and ship frames and related materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role includes refurbishing items for resale and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Responsibilities include processing customer orders, moving goods between receiving, storage, and shipping areas, and ensuring accurate packing and tracking of shipments; compliance with company policies and safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and pull customer orders and ship orders.
• Move material and product from receiving or storage areas to shipping or designated areas.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves for shipping.
• Maintain the work area in a neat, clean and organized condition.
• Prepare parcels for mailing and enter them into the tracking system.
• Refurbish the product in fine detail for resale.
• Follow all safety policies and HIPAA requirements.
