Job summary

Macy's in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Fragrance Sales Associate to create a warm, welcoming environment and deliver personalized fragrance recommendations. You’ll educate customers on notes, layering, and usage while selling a wide range of beauty products.

You’ll engage with customers to build relationships, drive sales, and promote the Loyalty program while maintaining an organized, clean selling floor and using POS technology.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required.
• Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with warmth, engage them with fragrance recommendations, and educate on notes and layering.
• Maintain a polished, shoppable space by merchandising, updating signage and pricing.
• Drive sales and loyalty through clienteling tools and promoting launches and events.
• Operate POS and mobile tools to process transactions and enhance the shopping experience.
