24 Seven Talent is seeking a Packaging Designer for a fragrance-focused client in Edison, NJ. The role centers on creating standout bottle decoration and secondary packaging, translating trends into compelling packaging concepts, and ensuring manufacturability and cost considerations for global retail.

Responsibilities span dielines, finishes, 3D renders, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, fabrication, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in beauty or FMCG packaging design, fragrance packaging preferred.
• Portfolio showing secondary carton design and bottle decoration work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, retail-facing environment.

Responsabilités

• Trend & Concept Translation: research seasonal trends and translate into packaging concepts, CMF directions, and visual routes.
• Primary Graphic Design: create artwork for stock and custom bottle/cap formats, including decals and labels.
• Finish Development: define finishes such as satin spray, gradient lacquers, frosts, soft-touch coatings, metallization, PVD, and pad print.
• Secondary Carton & Gift Packaging: design cartons, sleeves, tins, coffrets, inserts, and gift packaging that extend brand identity.
• Dielines & Print Specs: develop production-ready dielines and print specs, including foil, embossing, spot UV, holographic effects.
• 3D Visualization & Mockups: produce renders and packshots for presentations and e-commerce.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with marketing and manufacturing to ensure samples reflect inks, substrates, foils, coatings.
• Prepress Mechanicals: prepare color separations, white plates, varnish layers, and foil files.
• Supplier & Cross-Functional Partnership: support feasibility reviews and timelines with factories and internal teams.
• Documentation: maintain packaging specification sheets and artwork release packs.
