Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• 5–7 years of laboratory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related programs.
• Proficient in quantitative analysis and data interpretation.
• Strong integrity and dependability with urgency and results orientation.
• Ability to communicate efficiently and work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to write correspondence and technical reports.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking/time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fragranced samples in customer bases across various bases.
• Incorporate fragrance oils into candle, wax, air care, home care, personal care bases.
• Develop and conduct fragrance experiments.
• Maintain a laboratory notebook and accurately document experiments and results.
• Organize data tables and charts to present data; prepare summaries for reports.
• Perform efficacy validation testing on customer projects.
• Evaluate raw materials used in product bases.
• Facilitate and run stability testing (UV, HOF, Oven, FT, etc.).
• Prioritize completion of application requests.
• Interpret analytical test methods provided by customers.
• Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area and practice safe GLP-compliant habits.
