Job summary

PGW Auto Glass LLC is seeking a Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver to load, transport, and deliver automotive glass on a designated route. You will ensure safe handling of fragile glass, maintain timeliness, and provide excellent customer service on each stop.

The role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and in compliance with all regulations. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (DOT certification may be required for some vehicles).
• Delivery experience with fragile materials preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading, securing, and delivering products.
• Basic computer skills for route navigation and delivery documentation.
• Able to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety procedures and workplace regulations.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.
• Deliver glass products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, in compliance with traffic laws and policies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Unload and assist customers with deliveries, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain delivery records, including invoices and proof of delivery documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and material organization.
• Follow proper handling and safety protocols to prevent damage and ensure safety.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
