Job summary

The PGW Auto Glass Delivery Driver and Warehouse employee is responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering automotive glass products to customers on a designated route. This role emphasizes safe handling of fragile glass, timely deliveries, and delivering excellent customer service.

Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, ability to operate box trucks, and be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; DOT may apply for certain vehicles.
• Delivery experience, preferably with fragile materials.
• Ability to learn to operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading and delivering.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure and transport automotive glass safely.
• Deliver glass on a designated route with accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with laws and policies.
• Pick, pack and load customer orders.
• Unload deliveries and assist customers; ensure undamaged arrival.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain delivery records and proof of delivery documents.
• Support warehouse operations including inventory checks.
