Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a Delivery Driver and Warehouse associate to load, transport, and deliver automotive glass on a designated route, ensuring safe handling of fragile glass and timely customer service.

The role requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and the capacity to operate forklifts and pallet jacks; overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (DOT where required).
• Delivery experience preferred with fragile materials.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading and delivering.
• Basic computer skills for route navigation and documentation.
• Lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Commitment to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass safely.
• Deliver glass on assigned route with accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with laws and policies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Unload and assist customers with deliveries, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices and proof of delivery documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and material organization.
• Follow proper handling and safety protocols to prevent product damage.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
