Kranz Consulting in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Senior Accountant to join client finance teams, delivering hands-on accounting and reporting support. The role blends internal accounting duties with fractional consulting for startups and growth companies, requiring accuracy in cash flow, payroll, AP/AR and month-end close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years accounting experience.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero and cloud platforms.
• Experience with Bill.com and Expensify preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Detail oriented; able to work independently or in a team.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsabilités

• Accounts Payable – manage invoices, PO matching, approvals, and 1099s.
• Payroll – process payroll and related journal entries.
• Cash Management – weekly cash forecasting and reconciliations.
• Accounts Receivable – manage checks and aging reports; assist collections.
• Month-end reconciliations and balance sheet maintenance.
• Support tax activities including sales and franchise taxes.
