Job summary

Networx is seeking an experienced People Operations Manager to join us in a part-time fractional capacity with about 16 hours per week, including two in-office days in Atlanta. The role blends HR administration, culture, and business objectives, with office management responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HR/People Operations, strong HRIS skills (Paylocity, Workday, HiBob, Deel, TriNet, Justworks), and a bachelor’s in HR or business. SHRM-CP/PHR is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR or People Operations experience.
• Expertise in modern HRIS tools (Paylocity, Workday, HiBob, Deel, TriNet, Justworks).
• Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration; SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Time Tracking: Monitor PTO/sick leave and assist leadership with payroll processing.
• Lifecycle Management: Onboarding (offer letters, system setup) and offboarding processes.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with employment regulations (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, I-9, ACA, DBL).
• HR Administration & Culture: Maintain employee records, coordinate internal communications, boost morale and engagement.
• Office Management: Manage the Atlanta office (order supplies, etc.).

Fractional People Operations Manager

Role Overview

At Networx, our mission is to connect homeowners with qualified local service professionals they can trust. We are seeking an experienced People Operations Manager to join us in a part-time fractional capacity, that also includes basic office management tasks (about 16 hours per week). This role includes two working days in our Atlanta office. It sits at the intersection of HR administration, culture and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Time Tracking: Monitor PTO/sick leave and assist leadership with accurate payroll processing.
• Lifecycle Management: Facilitate smooth onboarding (offer letters, system setup) and offboarding processes (e.g. severance agreements, unemployment claims).
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with employment regulations (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, I-9, ACA, DBL) and manage disciplinary/investigative procedures.
• HR Administration & Culture: Maintain employee records, coordinate internal communications, boost morale and lead employee engagement initiatives.
• Office Management: Take care of our local Atlanta office (order supplies etc)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR or People Operations experience (fractional/consulting experience is a plus).
• Expertise in modern HRIS tools such as Paylocity, Workday, HiBob, Deel, TriNet, or Justworks.
• Solid understanding of multi-state labor laws and leave management requirements.
• Genuine care for people, proactivity and initiative mindset.
• Ability to look at the big picture and go the extra mile.
• Exceptional emotional intelligence, communication and project management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or Business Administration; SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
