Responsibilities

  • Act as a player-coach: execute day-to-day operations while coaching and mentoring junior operators.
  • Design, document, and implement SOPs and end-to-end workflows for client delivery and internal operations.
  • Build and manage data ingestion pipelines, templating standards, and reporting dashboards for performance and accountability.
  • Lead martech, automation, and advanced tools initiatives (tool selection, integration, agents, templates).
  • Establish KPIs, cadence, and accountability mechanisms (standard frameworks, regular reviews, escalation paths).
  • Standardize onboarding, client communication, and delivery processes to enable predictable scale.
  • Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and capacity/roadmap decisions while maintaining a low-friction family culture.

A fast-growing, family-run fractional marketing and consulting business serving professional services clients (recently launched with initial clients and growing demand) seeks a fractional COO / integrator. This player-coach will bring operational rigor, build scalable processes and systems, and mentor a junior operator to support sustainable growth while preserving the family-business dynamic.
