Job summary

SystemsAccountants partners with a private equity-backed manufacturing company in the Minneapolis area to identify a Fractional Chief Financial Officer who will work directly with leadership and ownership to provide strategic financial guidance.

This executive will strengthen financial reporting, forecasting, and operational performance while balancing high-level strategy with day-to-day financial oversight, and will leverage NetSuite for business insights and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in CFO, VP Finance, Finance Director, or similar senior financial leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Experience working with private equity-backed companies strongly preferred.
• Required: Strong NetSuite expertise, including financial reporting, system optimization, and leveraging NetSuite for business insights and decision‑making.
• Ability to operate effectively in both strategic and hands‑on capacities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy, planning, and business performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Develop and improve KPI reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Support lender, investor, board, and ownership reporting as needed.
• Analyze business performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Evaluate and strengthen financial processes, controls, and reporting capabilities.
• Support growth initiatives, strategic projects, and operational decision‑making.
• Provide leadership and guidance to internal accounting and finance personnel.
