Job summary

Flip Fractional is seeking a Fractional CFO to accelerate growth for a portfolio of beauty, wellness, and design-focused clients. You will provide hands-on, CFO-level strategy, focusing on pricing, cash flow, and scalable decision-making, without the overhead of a full-time hire.

You will build forecasts and models, analyze unit economics, and set KPIs while communicating clearly with founders. This remote US-based role starts at 5–10 hours/week with potential expansion.

Qualifications

• Proven track record working with small businesses through growth or scaling, not just steady-state finance.
• Reliable, fast turnaround on deliverables and founder questions in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience in a CFO or senior finance leadership role.
• Comfortable with Fathom and QuickBooks, and building financial models in Excel.
• Exceptional communication and ability to translate complex data for non-financial founders.
• Available 5–10 hours/week, with potential to grow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CFO-level financial strategy for a portfolio of beauty, wellness, and service-based clients.
• Build and manage cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial models.
• Analyze margin, unit economics, and profitability by client/location.
• Set and track KPIs, and build reporting dashboards.
• Advise on pricing strategy for growth.
• Support client-facing strategy calls with the Flip team.
• Partner with bookkeeping/accounting staff to ensure clean financials.
