The role requires strong process improvement, systems aptitude, and nonprofit experience, enabling collaboration with fundraising and technology teams. You will translate strategic goals into actionable steps, document findings, and drive adoption of improvements across finance and accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Finance & Accounting workflows and recurring processes understanding.
• Experience evaluating workflows and implementing improvements.
• Ability to assess systems, gather requirements, and recommend tech or process adjustments.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities to independently find solutions.
• Understanding broader business goals while executing detailed changes.
• Ability to work autonomously in evolving environments.
• Experience with nonprofit organizations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current Finance and Accounting workflows and identify inefficiencies.
• Review recurring tasks to find standardization opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Research tools and technologies; gather requirements and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support finance systems and workflow initiatives, including budgeting and procurement tools.
• Bridge Finance with fundraising, data, and technology stakeholders for better alignment.
• Investigate complex accounting processes and provide research-based recommendations, including nonprofit contexts.
