Job summary

WACCPA is seeking a Service Delivery Lead to own the Fractional CFO department and serve as the right-hand to the Principal CPA.

This role starts as a Part-Time or Project-Based Contract (1099) with a transparent path to a Full-Time Lead as our client portfolio grows, offering $75–$100 per hour, remote in PDT hours, and 10–20 hours per month to begin.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a Controller or Finance Director role.
• Certification with QuickBooks Online, Xero, and modern reporting/forecasting tools.
• Ability to explain a Balance Sheet to a non-finance executive and build a department.

Responsibilities

• Lead client financial leadership and act as primary Controller for a portfolio of clients.
• Oversee month-end close ensuring data accuracy before CFO/Principal review.
• Prepare monthly Insight Packages explaining the why behind the numbers.
• Help design SOPs for CFO-level service delivery and drive process optimization.
• Develop scenario planning to align with client growth goals.

## What Does This Fractional CFO Role Involve?•Job Overview\\*WACCPA is a growing CPA firm looking for a \\*Service Delivery Lead\\* to own the execution of our Fractional CFO department.Currently, our CFO services are led by our Principal CPA.
