Job summary

Total Frac Solutions (TFS) in Houston is seeking a Shop Technician to test, rebuild, and maintain pressure control equipment for frac operations. The role starts in Houston with 5‑day weeks and two shifts, then rotates to Midland after about 90–150 days.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen are required. Overtime may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read work orders, routers, and basic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Test, rebuild, and maintain pressure control equipment.
• Tear down, inspect, and rebuild frac valves and related equipment.
• Perform pressure and functional testing up to 15,000 psi; record data and generate test reports.
• Use gauges and measuring tools to verify equipment meets spec.
• Maintain test equipment (pumps, motors, valves, gauges, hoses, fittings).
• Operate torque equipment; forklift and overhead crane as needed.
• Pressure wash and prep equipment for inspection; keep shop clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
