Job summary

Element Technical Services, Inc. seeks a field-qualified technician to oversee rig-in/rig-out of chemical additive units, ensuring safety and SOP compliance. The role focuses on troubleshooting, chemical handling, and maintaining safe valve operations.

Responsibilities include directing unit operations, managing the chemical zone with proper PPE use, preventing contamination, addressing issues promptly, and performing preventative maintenance, with regular travel to off-site locations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Experience performing tasks of lower job classifications.
• Understanding of truck and equipment safety, maintenance, and chemical handling.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• High personal integrity and strong work ethic; able to stay calm under stress.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Unit Operations: Direct the safe rig-in/rig-out of chemical additive units, ensuring compliance with SOPs and proper hose rigging
• Chemical Zone Management: Oversee the chemical zone, ensuring all personnel use PPE and follow safety protocols
• Valving & Contamination Prevention: Check valving and lines before transferring chemicals; ensure pumps are not rolled against a closed system
• Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues promptly to maintain job quality
• Preventative Maintenance: Ensure all preventative maintenance requirements are met
