Job summary

Howmet Aerospace's LaPorte facility is seeking a highly qualified FPI Level III to join our quality team. You will direct and control quality and technical functions for compliance with internal and customer specs, oversee inspections, audits, and training, and act as a primary point of contact with manufacturing, engineering and customers in the NDT area.

The role requires strong leadership in Level I/II certification programs, Nadcap compliance, and hands-on experience in inspection methods,

Qualifications

• Must hold FPI Level II Certification and meet the listed education options.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Experience with Level II inspections and Nadcap requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct quality and technical functions for compliance to internal and customer specs.
• Oversee inspections, training, personnel; perform audits and process scrap reviews.
• Maintain documentation and act as primary liaison for internal/external communication.
• Lead certification and training programs for Level I and Level II personnel in NDT.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction activities in the NDT area.
• Conduct periodic systems audits as required by the HLC quality system.
