Job summary

Barnes Aerospace West Chester Division is seeking a detail‑oriented FPI Inspector to support material flow and quality throughout the manufacturing process. You will perform inspections, document results, and ensure inventory accuracy while coordinating with purchasing and external processing services.

Qualifications

• Two years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Able to read and interpret operation sheets and follow instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication with teammates and supervision.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine checks, tests, gauging and instrument inspections of materials, parts in process and finished parts.
• Records results on inspection forms or charts and reports number of defects found.
• Performs visual inspection for obvious defects.
• Inspects parts using fluorescent penetrant and other nondestructive testing methods as needed.
